Your candidate’s dilemma

I have never before needed to think what happens on polling day. Suddenly, I am aware of many rules, with potential huge fines if I break any of these rules. What am I allowed to do and not do, during the 15 hours the polling stations are open?

I have been offered helped from 6 Independent Councillors, who can each wear a rosette and stand outside a polling station. Sounds great? But what sort of rosettes will they bring with them? I want to be independent but rosettes always make it look like the candidate is a party politician!

So… 5:06am and I need to come up with something my supporters can wear or hold that is legal whilst making it really clear they have come to support me.

It’s a challenge!

Might it be as simple as using the logo I designed for two of the yellow hi-viz that I had made? (I think hi-viz jackets, with my name on, are probably going to be illegal.)
